Signature architecture & design practice based in Bali, Indonesia
Architecture d'Auteur is the practice of Sara Sieradzan, designer trained at the prestigious École Boulle, and architect in Bali, Indonesia, where she designs luxury villas, hotels and interiors. Every project opens with the same gesture, a notebook, a pencil, an idea, and grows into a concept that exists nowhere else.
Indonesia lets us practise architecture as it should be practised: guided by values and imagination. Each terrain, each client calls for a unique, atypical concept, imagined, then created, each time different. From Bali, the studio designs across Indonesia and Asia.
Matter is the heart of the work. We work the Indonesian earth: recycled ironwood, volcanic stone, travertine, brass, linen. Every material is chosen by hand, sample by sample, for a single project. We build alongside teams whose trust never says no to new forms or reinvented matter. Out of the box is our method, not our slogan.
From masterplan to the last piece of furniture, everything is designed, sourced and supervised by the practice, a millimetre-precise accompaniment, rare here, and precious.
Site-specific, one-of-a-kind architecture, concept, creative direction, masterplanning and permitting, engineered for Indonesian climate and regulation.
Interior architecture, custom furniture and lighting, textiles and material research, crafted with Indonesian artisans, down to the smallest detail.
On-the-ground direction of contractors, artisans and consultants, from first stake to final styling, in three languages.
